Untitled

[edit]

I removed the statement "He and singer Bing Crosby invented the mute for the trumpet." Busse may well have developed a type of mute, but not the first. -- Infrogmation 19:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When Day is Done

[edit]

Some of the information on this song is wrong: the English lyric is not by Johnny DeSilvia (whoever he is) but by the well-known songwriter Buddy De Sylva. The composer was indeed Robert Katscher, actually an Austrian and I'm not sure he was a doctor (the article on him in German Wikipedia doesn't say so). Maybe he had a music doctorate. Incidentally the original title of this song was 'Madonna, du bist schöner als der Sonnenschein'. Tiresias13 (talk) 20:50, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
